Deal With the Devil by Kit Rocha is the first book in a really intriguing, near future science-fiction plot with the heroine Nina, an information broker and head of mercenary librarians and hero, Knox (captain) fighting for post-apocalytic survival despite the hot passion brewing between them. This sounds like my kind of read.
