The cover for Deal with the Devil gives me all of the post apocalyptic library vibes. We have a heroine on the cover who looks like she’s about to kick some butt at the end of the world, and that essentially what happens in the first look. The first look is engaging, and has a bit of a unique format where there are memo correspondence of some sort before the standard text. In the first look we are introduced to what I assume are our two lead characters. A heroine and a hero. Seems like they don’t know each other yet, one less than the other, but will be crossing paths quite soon. Seems like a great read for anyone who likes a dystopian with a scientific vibe, and the potential for some romance!
