From the First Look, it seems like this story has a compelling high-tech, post-apocalyptic setting that could be a lot of fun. And the backgrounds of the two POV characters seem intriguing: an information smuggler with supernaturally quick fighting reflexes (who does she work for? what is she dealing in?), and a tech-enhanced corporate mercenary who found his line in the sand and wouldn't cross it, now a target of that same corporation. My only concern is that the publisher's blurb seem to be really hyping this as a romance story ("passion flares between them," "sizzling sexual tension") with sci-fi dressing, which would be disappointing to me. I definitely don't mind a little romance in my SFF, but a romantic set-up that substitutes for interesting plot and character development is not what I prefer.
