I'm a sucker for any kind of fantasy/sci book that has librarians or dealings with books, so I was excited to read an excerpt. The beginning chapter is action-packed and promising, but I wish I could have read more to get a better feel for the story. The cover is intriguing, but it looks like a dozen similar covers of the female protagonist standing solo in front of various backdrops. I'm excited to read more, but I'll probably borrow this book from my library first to see if I like this start to what will presumably be a series.
