The little chapter break paragraphs are the most intriguing thing about the book so far and make me wonder what's going on there.

It took me a couple of chapters to get into the writing but the overall story seems interesting and I love the southern setting. The setting itself is well described. I'm also liking the spiritual elements being described.

The first chapter didn't hook me like I'd hoped but it is getting better with every chapter. I'm always up for a story about a missing person.

I'm a little leery about the potential romance but if it is well developed, I won't mind it as much. I'm intrigued on what exactly happened between Grey and Elora before she disappeared.

So far I'm enjoying the mystery aspect of this and warming to the friend group. I feel like this is one of those slow burn books that gets better as it goes and ends up being enjoyable.
