I have several thoughts about the beginning of "Dark and Shallow Lies." I developed images in my mind of each character, and the author does an amazing job of describing them to her readers. It is classified as a "supernatural thriller," but there are also other elements present, such as family, love, and tradition.
I really enjoyed the writing in this book, and can't wait to read more!
