From the first line I was hooked the writing is lush and vivid as the town. You feel yourself immersed right there with Grey. Grey's friend has disappeared into the night and no one is talking, no one has seen or felt anything. Or they aren't talking because I town who claims to the Psychic capital of the world has surely seen what happened to Elora right?!
Grey doesn't live there so she wasn't there but she plans to find out what happened to her friend this summer! She spends 9 months out of the year in Arkansas with her dad and claims not to have any abilities like the rest of the town. However she has a thought or vision of her friend running from someone in the dark pounding rain. So maybe her abilities are waking up and maybe someone in the town isn't going to like her meddling.
I can't wait to see how this ends and what happened to Elora. This book seems perfect for a bit of thrills and chills.
