First of all, the cover looks phenomenal. It has the right amount of ambiguity yet intrigue to it.
The first few pages of the book were also really interesting. That first line was catchy, unexpected, and (unfortunately for me) relatable, which I, as a reader, value. I also like how the author establishes the main character as different and sets the suspense up from the start.
