I'm a big YA fan. I'm also a fan of books set in the Bayous of the South. They have a lot of stories to tell. This is the perfect Summer YA supernatural fiction read. It's well written and very visual. Creepy and magical with fleshed out characters. You'll turn the pages wondering what exactly happened to Elora and actually be satisfied at the end.
