There is something about southern literature that seems to draw me in & this book is no exception. Set in an island off the coast of Louisiana, the novel focuses on Elora, a missing girl & what might have happened to her The bayou setting comes alive & you are drawn into the mystery right away. I am eager to read more of this book!
