My first demand from any book is that it be full of lies, festering lies that can break and destroy you and lay a community waste. I suspect our heroine will meet up, for good or evil, with the "stormy-eyed" boy and that there will be some kind of confrontation or meeting of minds that will bring new understandings and change the community forever!!
