I was first drawn to this book due to the gorgeous cover and blurb. Anything mentioning magic or small town secrets pique my interest.
I immediately felt Mindy McGuinness and Courtney Summers's vibes while reading this. The writing is familiar and comparable for me in that it is easy to read. Although I only read three chapters in this first look, I already learned so much about the character, the town, and the overall vibes of the story without any info-dumping.
I'm already invested and look forward to finishing this mystery!
