I like the casual writing style, especially where Grey states that living in La Cachette in the summer is like "living inside someone's mouth for three months." It reminds me of Stephen King's style. The pack of psychic teens is good. I get the feeling somebody is going to read somebody else's mind and not like what they find. There is a claustrophobic feel of everyone being in everyone else's business since the town is the size of a postage stamp, and besides that there isn't much else to do, except peddle trinkets and food to the tourists. The way the town is described is very atmospheric. Grey seems "grey and unformed" but she might not be so "foggy and indecisive" by the end. Her mother named her "Grey" for her color aura but I get the feeling she will be less grey in the end.
