Hooked me in from the first line!
Well, I do have to say that first line does a fantastic job of drawing your attention in immediately! I love it when a book has a great first line that hooks you in right away, and Dark and Shallow Lies definitely accomplished that.
The cover interested me first with this one and then I read the blurb and was instantly intrigued, but after reading the little snippet we get for the First Impression, I am highly anticipating reading this book!
Like I said from the first line, the author hooked me into the story and so far from the snippet we get I am already invested in this story and the characters. I'm loving the setting as well. I can not wait to be able to read the rest of the story to find out the answers behind the mysteries of Elora's disappearance.
I am a huge fan of supernatural reads, and this one is now on my highly anticipated reads shelf on my TBR!
