This book seems like it will be an instant hit. I loved the way the author describes the bayou as if it were a living and breathing entity. The authors prose and way of describing Grey and her town calls to my mind in way I have not felt in a while; to say I am excited for this book is an understatement. The whole vibe of the first 50 or so pages reminds me of long summer evenings sitting in a porch swing watching while the world passes you by. As a side note, if I was walking into a bookstore and saw the cover of this book it would be an instant buy for me. I think that the real star of this book is the friendships that the author has built for us the readers. I am beyond excited to solve the mystery and hopefully find Elora.
