This was a book that I was excited about before I even read the first impression! The idea is something that I absolutely love and I enjoyed reading about Darius' journey. Darius feels as if he doesn't belong anywhere, and once he visits Iran and learns more about his culture he connects more. I can relate to him because of how deep set my depression is and I know how hard it can be to deal with day to day. It can be hard to talk to anyone about it. Darius is so love-able as a character and easily relate-able. I love once Darius meets his new friend Sohrab. He's one of the best kinds of friends that I've ever seen in fiction or in real life. Everyone needs a friend like that in their life. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!
