I won this book in a giveaway.
I have heard so many great things about this book, so I was ecstatic when I won it in a giveaway. I wanted to start reading the day it came in the mail, and I tried. After a few chapters, I just could not get into this and I put it down. I decided to try again a week or so later. Again, I just could not get into this. I did like that Darius was Persian and that this books deals with diversity, but it was just not for me. This starts off pretty slow and I just never got infested into the story. I was not interested in anything that was going on and found myself forcing myself to read it since I wanted to give it a chance. I ended up not being able to finish this one.
