Awesome Diverse Representation and Appeal

I really enjoyed the first pages of this book. This book will definitely immerse the reader in the cultures of Iran and Persia. It also features lgbt characters which is very important for young teens to identify with and celebrate. There is way too many books featuring white main characters for teens and this will be a title that will help change the tide. Darius facination with sci-fi and fantasy is also a great example of how a young person can be many things and not limited to what mainstream society says they should be invested in. I'm sure this clash of culture will be a roller coaster of emotion for the reader to get lost in. I can't wait to get lost in this great culture study and learn more about Darius.
