I really, really like that the protagonist is a teen boy with mixed ethnicity, but the plot isn't interesting enough. I'd like to know more about HOW Sohrab helps Darius feel like himself. Sure, they play soccer, eat faludeh, and talk, but that all sounds empty. Finding yourself should be messy. This is just boring.
