Looks like it explores interesting topics

Definitely peaked my interest and I am excited to read more about his visit to see his dying grandfather in Iran. I'm happy to read a diverse book that also explores the topics of mental illness and the strained relationship he has with his father. The only thing that kind of annoyed me while reading was the author's repetitive writing style. Does the name of the kid's high school have to be mentioned twice in a sentence? And I get that teenagers sometimes refer to their parents by their actual names but it was overdone in my opinion. Other than that this seems like it could be an interesting YA book.
