Darius the Great is Not Okay had an impressionable first 60 pages, hooking me in and not letting go. Darius is funny and smart when you first meet him, with moments that anyone can relate to. Without knowing the characters, I found myself laughing with them, being sad with them, and wanting to comfort them from the get-go. I can't wait to get to know Darius in the rest of the novel.
