When I heard this was a Wattpadd book, I was very hesitant to read it. I was afraid it would give me first generation YA vibes, and that it would be hard to get through. But i was so very wrong! The way mythology was brought into this contemporary setting was very interesting, and I loved it! In my opinion however, the novel could’ve been shorter with so more editing, as some scenes or lines were unnecessary. I loved Lila, and thought she was an interesting character who just took no sh*t from anybody.
I really loved the plot that Cupid’s could not be matched, even though the original Cupid was matched with Lila. But I found it annoying that it took so long for Lila to find out why she shouldn’t break the rule.
