The synopsis sounded interesting enough, but after reading the few pages provided, I am not impressed. First, who--and especially what teenager--would take an hour-long bus ride just to tell a company to stop spamming her with mail? I can't tell you how many credit card offers I receive each week, and not once would I ever consider calling them or visiting them to demand to be removed from their mailing list. Second, "cupids" are running their business "secretly" but also insanely publicly by operating in an enormous tower that actually sports their business name? The premise of all this just seems too silly to work past. Perhaps if more than a few pages had been released for the First Look, I could have gained a more positive impression, but based on what was offered, I would not recommend this book to anyone.
