Based on the first look I was very excited about this book!! I love pirates and fantasy novels!! The cover of this book is just gorgeous!!! The synopsis and sneak peek seemed very promising but the more I read through, the more disappointed I was. I honestly couldn't even bring myself to finish this book. The character development could have been better, everything seemed very forced...It was a quick easy read for the most part I can see middle grade/young adult readers enjoying this but as an adult who reads young adult maybe skip this one.
