This book sounded so cool and that cover is amazing. I enjoy a good pirate story and you don't see many in the YA genre. I liked the multiple perspectives and the found family trope. The relationship between the sisters was interesting to read about as well. Of the characters, I enjoyed Csilla the most. I felt like Kane's character didn't know if he wanted to be the bad boy ruthless pirate or the warm hearted pirate. His character just seemed wishy-washy. I liked Lorelei but felt her backstop could have been expanded upon more. I felt the "quest" was too easily accomplished and didn't have many high stakes involved. The pacing was also really jumbled. It starts off with an action scene which caught my attention but then goes into a "meet each character" segment, back to action, back to a "let's learn about the characters' pasts" now back to the present for some action. Overall this was a soft pirate story because none of these characters really gave off pirate vibes. It had potential and again that cover but it's not one I'll ever remember to mention again.
