This book starts off strong with own of your main characters walking to be hung. You get the perfect taste of the land lovers hatred towards pirates. Obviously our main character has a last minute escape thanks to her sister and the action just doesn’t stop.
Pirate/siren/mermaid books are really popular right now, so it’s hard to know if you’re going to get something original or a knock off. This is my third pirate book in as many months, and this one is definitely the most memorable.
I was a little hesitant because this book is a Wattpad book, I didn’t really know what the quality would be. But the author blew me away with her imagery and detail. It flowed really well.
I only requested this book on netgalley and here on because of that cover. Holy cow is it stunning! And the story is just as good.
I definitely want to get a physical copy of this book.
