It seems like it’s set a little back in time. The main protagonists seems like a badass (can I say that?) and the guy that turned her in,, seems like an enemies to lovers may I dare say? I haven’t ever read a book about pirates but the least I can say it that in INTRIGUED! The sentence “I’ve never given much thought to how I would die” gives me twilight vibes, and I would love to continue reading this. So far pirate twilight type enemies to lovers vibe?
