I have to say I'm not a big fan of the cover design and the book blurb didn't really catch my attention. Neither did the multiple perspective format since its so rarely well done (there's always one character you like more than the other or their voices are too similar that you forget who's pov you're reading). But after taking a look at the first two chapters I think it's still a fun YA book I'll check out. With the pirate aspect it reminds me a lot of the Fable duology by Adrienne Young and The Beholder duology by Anna Bright.
