I like the idea of this book a lot. It's moody, thematic, and has a lot to offer as a fun romp through pirate fantasy. However, I'm slightly concerned that the story is a little too predictable. Not that there is anything wrong with that at all, but I really have to be in a particular mood to read something with an ending I can predict a chapter in.
