Wow! The opening passage of this book just drew me in and made me want to read more than the first look had to offer. I absolutely love pirate books, but unfortunately there aren't enough YA pirate novels out there for me. Csilla seems like such a rebellious, strong female main character, which I absolutely love. The ending of the first look "Never trust a pirate" made me want to keep reading and get to know Kane as a character more. The cover of this book is also so pretty - it definitely would make me want to pick it up off the shelf at a bookstore.
