Crossbones starts with our character Csilla being led to the gallows for Piracy. People are snarling and throwing things, happy to see her die. The man who betrayed her, someone she could have seen herself loving is in the crowd happy to see her captured. This books goes across multiple POVs. A good read for anyone who wants to take on the sea.
