The book provides instruction on how best to crochet, and gives special instruction for how to follow the patterns and ways to best approach the pattern. Tools and materials are described and charts are provided to differentiate between US measurements and Canada/UK measurements. The patterns start out with beginner level, and get increasingly more difficult. Instruction on how to construct different parts of the rugs are scattered throughout, as well as different stitches that will be needed for the projects. Definitely a great instruction book!
