Great Book for Beginners and Experienced crocheters!
I really liked this book because of the way it was written. It's not just a book filled with patterns, it will take you from the first things you need to do before you start each project. It explains the stitches, what kind of yarn to use, and also the size of crochet hook to use. An important step it explains is how to check your gauge so that your project will turn out nicely! It also lists the abbreviations used in the patterns. It also has a chart you can follow, or the test to follow the pattern, your choice!
It also gives you a choice of what to make for each animal, for example-rug or wall hanging, and how to finish each project. There are also pillow patterns, stool covers, placemats and security blankets.
The best thing about this book is the ability to start to crochet and do not know how, because its step by step. This is the best book I have seen in a while, and I am so happy to use it while I get back into crocheting by starting with the simple patterns and making my way up through the challenging projects.
