I have not yet taken up crochet, but even if you do not plan on being a crocheter, you really have to look at this book. Some of these crocheted animal rugs are authentically mega-adorable.
The design of the book itself, also, is extremely well done. I did not expect it to be as beautiful as it is. It does have a little bit of that projects-for-the-home look, but it completely ups the amps with careful book design/page layouts, and a cover that is a pleasure to behold.
There are pillows and rugs...cats and pandas and giraffes and elephants. Really, if you are craft-y enough to take this up and want to have something cute to do-up a baby or toddler's room, this wold be great. Lots of fun.
