This book has a few different characters with which to make a matching rug and pillow for a child's room. There are sometimes added accessories to make that match the theme as well. These projects range from beginner to more advanced difficulty leaving something for everyone in this book. If you are an avid crocheter, you'll find something cute to make in this book for the child in your life!
The one reason I probably wouldn't make the rugs in this book is largely due to their size. I personally have a difficult time finishing larger projects as I lose interest quickly, but I do think I would attempt the pillows and some of the other accessories.
