This book was so much fun! I really can't say that I read all of it, more I read what I could and stared in amazement at the rest. Honestly, the people who can read it are programmers in their own right because those things are complex! This book is not one that is meant for a beginner, but more for someone who knows a bit about crochet and has at least gone through their first few patterns. This book does not explain how to do the basics.
This book is perfect for people who have small children or nieces and nephews or other smaller children (or people who don't mind having animal bathmats). I for sure hope to learn a bit more about crochet and I think that this is something that, if I were to ever have children, I would love to be able to make for them. Overall, four point five out of five from me.
