I really like the variety of fun patterns, including both rugs and pillows, and that the author includes patterns for all skill levels. The sample Panda rug and pillow patterns are so cute! Every pattern includes a list of the stitches and the crochet skills you need to be able to complete the project. The author even includes info and tips for left handed crocheters! I've never crocheted a rug and would love to try one of the beginner patterns.
