The cover of the book is adorable, and I can see this being highly appealing to someone that is crafty and has smaller kids. It does offer some explanation information on how to crochet, and offers different levels of difficulty, but as someone who's done cross-stitch but not crochet, I would probably still need an introductory guide to crochet itself.
