I absolutely loved this book and I'm happy I was able to snag a copy of this. I kept turning the pages of this book to find out what was going to happen. I felt engaged the whole time I was reading. I actually got upset with my husband when he needed help, because I had to put the book down. I ended up reading this book over the course of two settings, because I didn't want to put it down.
The artwork was stunning. I found the characters to be strong. Two of our main characters (Emsy and Ben) are dealing with grief and I like how that was handled. I actually found myself questioning who the "villian" of the story was, which was something I enjoyed (I like being kept on my toes). I was satisfied with how the story ended for the most part. My only wish was that things with Joss were wrapped up. I liked the magic in this book and that there were different "fields" of it. There was even a found family aspect. Overall this might end up being one of my favorite reads of this month!
