I am not a huge graphic novel reader. Sometimes they are nice for a quick read but to me it feels like watching a movie with subtitles and I don't love those. I struggle to look at the pictures because I get so into reading the story that I forget to look at the pictures and loose a lot of the story that way. It is not that I don't like films that are in other languages. It is that I often miss parts of the movie while trying to keep up with the reading and that bugs me. I then have to go back and rewatch it and with graphic novels since I have to go back and read them several times to get the whole thing put together and usually since I have already read it and know how it ends, i really don't want to go back and read it enough times to really get the full story. This graphic novel was different though. I loved the story and was intrigued by the bit I read. I even saved this sample on my computer which I never do.
