I absolutely love graphic novels so the idea of a graphic novel starring queer characters and magic sits perfectly with me!

The art in this book was absolutely gorgeous and I was loving all the colors and the way everything blended! It was beautiful and I think it added so well to the story!

The character was interesting. She's reluctant to live there, but she's being forced to by her parents. Eventually, she comes around but I love the struggle that she had in determining what was important to her. It's very realistic, especially for a teenager and it was handled really well.

I loved the plot of this book! It was very interesting to me and I thought it was very well-written. The author, Jennifer Dugan, is one that I really enjoy and her work seemed to shine even in a graphic novel! I was worried that it wouldn't come across the same way but it did!
