I’m thrilled that BookishFirst has graphic novels! The Coven has beautiful artwork to move a story forward that doesn’t require any words. This first impression takes us through a major and suddenly upheaval in Emsy’s life. While she knows about her powers and her family’s connection to witchcraft, she’s also a “typical” teen with her own priorities. I can imagine the suspense building as she gets reconnected to the Coven and as we find out more about what’s happening to the witches. Promising start!
