First of all - a mash up of murder, mystery, and witches and I am IN. Add queer AND upstate New York (where I live!) and I am even more excited to get my hands on this! I love the cover, it brings perfect intrigue and is an instant eye catcher. I am very intrigued by Emsy having to "master her neglected craft" because I want to know why she neglected it, and how she will rekindle it. I'm also interested to see how the family coven plays out in general - why did they move across the country from both their family and their coven? Seems like very interesting mysteries to uncover! I also love a good graphic novel, especially for YA because it helps me to find great reads for the students in my school!
