The cover is very emboldened and prominent feeling having a woman holding fire in her hands! This has a magical aspect that I like incorporating witches and witchcraft. I have never been to California but I have spent many years in Upstate New York so I am always intrigued with a setting taking place there! I like the mystery vibes and plot and that I could also pass this book on to my daughter to read since this aligns with her likes as well!
