I'm always hoping to find new well-written graphic novels to read and it's always a bonus if they're queer. This one seems like it should fit the bill.
I enjoy what I've seen of the story so far. Ems seems conflicted and resistant but that fits a teenager uprooted from her life and I'd love to see whether she grows to accept her new life. The conflict also seems interesting and I'm very intrigued to see where it goes.
The art in this book is gorgeous to me. I love the way it looks both in design and coloring.
