I was a bit alarmed by the blood in the beginning, but in a good way. It was unexpected, but really helped set the creepy atmosphere. Still, the tone of this book is quite young and I just don’t think it would be a good fit for me. For many, however, this will be a perfect addition to their creepy season stack!
