I Loved This and Want to Meet the Coven, Bring on the Witchy Vibes!

I loved the color palettes of the panels in this First Look. The hues of deep blue felt haunting and mysterious and I was immediately intrigued by Ben's arrival, smearing blood on the doorway and dropping a kitten huddled in his arms. I want to know more about this night and this sweet looking boy! The way the graphic novel notes timelines through color themes is very clever. I like how Emsy, like most teenage girls, is selfish to her world over the grand scheme of what has been revealed, it is very realistic and I do appreciate flaws in the characters. I also love the relationship between Emsy and Joss, I want to see more and root on their romance, it is amazing to see supportive and open girlfriends with supportive families and starting a narrative with the witch thing not being a secret. I also love the build up to the house they'll be staying in, like the old manor may hold secrets of its own.

I am a bit thrown off with how prominent and out of place the text boxes feel, not sure if it is just a part of the online preview.

The artwork on the cover is gorgeous, with the stark contrast of deep blues and burning reds, Emsy really stands out on the cover with brilliant light and I love the outline of the coven behind her.
