From the beginning I am hooked on this story and where it’s going. I am excited for the plot and I love magic and fantasy so I’m excited for more of that. I do think the characters are a little flat though it could be since it’s just the beginning and I haven’t seen them outside the context of Emsy and her family leaving. Though I do hope they are given more depth.
