I am very intrigued by this story. Emsy's reluctance to her family's responsibilities is a cliched response, but it doesn't feel overdone. I sympathize with her situation, but I also want her coven's situation to be solved. I like this kind of push-and-pull that Dugan has set up for the reader that I'm sure will be explored within the story. The art style is also eye-catching and fits the story well. I can't wait to keep reading!
