I like historical fiction and especially WWII history. So this story sounds perfect for me. A combination of suspense, mystery, history and love. Saffron and Gerhard start out the beginning of the story reliving how they just met 3 months ago. It sounds perfectly sweet, but 1939 Paris was not likely a sweet time. War looming and the need for secret service agents to go to Germany and discover in detail what the Nazi's were up to. This story is bound to be filled with much suspense. I will be interested to see how the love between Saffron and Gerhard lasts and how that is interwoven into the story. Also eager to see how the WWII is portrayed in this book. I learn something new every time I read a historical fiction book about WWII and this one will likely be the same.
